Over the last couple years, we and our patients have been horrified by the skyrocketing copay costs of prescription derm medications – acne cream for $200, steroid creams for $600, even generic. What?! Turns out there is a national crisis in the availability and prices of dermatologic meds, just like the costly EpiPen scandal. So we at Zand Dermatology are solving this problem for our patients ourselves.

We are thrilled to have received Physician Dispensing Association (PDA) Accreditation and can now dispense prescription dermatologic medications here in our office. Dr. Zand has custom-designed these medications to combine multiple Rx ingredients into one, compounded by an FDA facility just for our patients.

So now you can avoid the hassle of a trip to the pharmacy, the headache of dealing with insurance, and save money since most of our customized meds cost less than your insurance copay. Hurray for superior prescription ingredients, convenience and value!

We kindly ask for advance notice if you need to reschedule:

• 24 business hours’ notice required for most appointments
  • $100 — Medical visits
  • $150 — Botox or Microneedling
  • $200 — Filler
• 7 business days’ notice required for CO2 Laser Resurfacing to avoid losing the deposit
• 3 business days’ notice required for Ultherapy, V-Beam and BBL laser visits to avoid losing the deposit
• Laser visits cancelled within 24 hours of the visit are subject to a 50% charge of your total treatment cost, minus the deposit already collected.

Dr. Sarv Zand

• Cosmetic appointments: $450 minimum (25 units)
• Medical dermatology visits: $900 access fee

Dr. Paula Zand

• No cosmetic minimum
• No medical access fee

To reserve your appointment, a credit card is required on file. Please call us at 415-301-5000 within one week of booking to provide this information, or your appointment may be released.
