Dermatologic Medications Now Available in Office

Over the last couple years, we and our patients have been horrified by the skyrocketing copay costs of prescription derm medications – acne cream for $200, steroid creams for $600, even generic. What?! Turns out there is a national crisis in the availability and prices of dermatologic meds, just like the costly EpiPen scandal. So we at Zand Dermatology are solving this problem for our patients ourselves. We are thrilled to have received Physician Dispensing Association (PDA) Accreditation and can now dispense prescription dermatologic medications here in our office. Dr. Zand has custom-designed these medications to combine multiple Rx ingredients into one, compounded by an FDA facility just for our patients. So now you can avoid the hassle of a trip to the pharmacy, the headache of dealing with insurance, and save money since most of our customized meds cost less than your insurance copay.
