Zand Dermatology participates with Medicare and accepts Medicare fees. If Medicare is your primary insurance, we will submit claims directly to them on your behalf. Billing of any supplemental insurance claims is the responsibility of the patient, but Medicare will forward claims to your secondary if prior arrangements have been made.
We also accept Aetna PPO and Cigna PPO plans, and we will submit claims directly to them on your behalf. Please call us to book an appointment if this is your insurance.
Zand Dermatology is an “out-of-network” provider for all other private health insurance companies. Our office will gladly provide you with a billing sheet that you can submit to your insurance provider to obtain out-of-network reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service for non-insurance-contracted patients. Please note that cosmetic procedures are generally not covered by any insurance carriers.
