Lucretia is Zand Dermatology's office manager, certified biller + coder, and patient financial advocate. She is an expert at dealing with Medicare and can help address any concerns about your bill or reimbursements. Before joining our team, Lucretia managed a busy dermatology practice for almost 30 years. She is highly knowledgeable and skilled at answering clinical questions about biopsy results, surgical procedures, cosmetic treatments, wound care, and what to expect. She is a graduate of UNLV, where she studied both nursing and business. Outside of the office, Lucretia enjoys spending time with her daughters and 7 grandchildren, and sailing the bay with her husband Jim and their loving golden doodle Luc.
Ruby is Zand Dermatology's Medical Receptionist! Ruby's strong passion to help others led her to obtain her Medical Assistant Certification. Shortly after that, she received her Associate of Arts degree from Heald College. Before joining our team, Ruby worked for eight years as an office manager, receptionist, and medical assistant. Ruby's lifelong interest in skincare has helped fuel her excitement to join our team at Zand Dermatology. In her free time outside of the office, she likes to spend time with her loved ones, always searching for a new place to explore! Ruby is an avid hiker with a love for the outdoors. Whether it be a new waterfall hike or the latest Bay Area Sports game, she always has a new adventure to share. We are so happy to have someone like Ruby who brings a unique skill set to our office, all while welcoming each patient with a bright smile!

Alexa is one of Zand Dermatology’s Medical and Surgical Assistants! Alexa recently graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Before joining our team, Alexa conducted research in corneal genetics at Jules Stein Eye Institute, volunteered at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and provided health education services to the Los Angeles community. She also served as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Medical Literature Society at UCLA and as the Internal Vice President of UCLA’s Mortar Board Senior Honor Society. She was one of ten seniors at UCLA to be awarded the True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award, which recognized her for her leadership and service throughout her four years of college. Alexa’s commitment to patient care and love for learning drives her excitement to join our team! Outside of the office, Alexa enjoys running, golfing, and baking and decorating cakes. We are so excited to welcome Alexa to our practice!
Pre-Med Medical Assistant
Bella is a Medical and Surgical Assistant at Zand Dermatology! She recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she received degrees in Integrative Biology and Nutritional Sciences as well as a minor in Global Public Health. Her keen interest in human health and wellness also led her to work as an Administrative Assistant at the Recreational Sports Facility on campus. Before joining our team, Bella volunteered as an EMT for over three years and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, spent countless hours at testing and vaccination sites across the Bay Area. Her diverse experiences and dedication to serving her community have driven her enthusiasm to join our team. Outside of the office, Bella enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and swimming. She also loves trying new restaurants, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. We are so excited to welcome Bella to be a part of our practice!
Kimberly Hanf, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Zand Dermatology. She completed her Master of Nursing degree at Vanderbilt University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Chapman University. Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast and dancer. Her participation in these sports led to a curiosity about the human body and a strong desire to pursue a career in healthcare. Her interest in dermatology began during an RN clinical rotation in the burn ICU where she developed an understanding of burn/wound healing and scar improvement treatments. Her shared passion for a holistic and integrative approach to dermatology and meticulous attention to detail make her a wonderful addition to our team! Outside of our office, she also works part-time as a general practitioner at a local family medicine practice. There she is responsible for treating patients with various acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cold/flu, skin rashes, and more. Having grown up in Marin County, Kimberly is thrilled to care for the community she truly values. In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga and pilates classes, dancing, cooking new recipes, and grabbing dinner with friends and family.
Registered Laser Specialist
Krista’s love for dermatology started in 2009 when she began working as a medical assistant at a dermatology office here in the Bay Area! After receiving her nursing degree in 2013, she continued her passion for dermatology as a laser specialist in Marin, operating on over 10 different lasers! Krista enjoys educating patients through the treatment process, from treatment goals to glowing clinical results. Outside of dermatology, Krista loves going on new adventures with her three energetic sons and her husband and riding the Peloton bike!
Meet Bella, our therapy dog and certified emotional support animal! Bella is a special member of our team and our patients love her for the emotional support she provides. Therapy pets are embraced at top hospitals like MGH and UCSF, as scientific research shows they help lower anxiety, reduce blood pressure, and increase the happy hormone oxytocin. Bella is a hypoallergenic, non-shedding, tricolored Yorkie. She adores being held and cuddled, especially by patients who feel nervous before in-office procedures.
